I am planning a trip to Loch Ness this October half term. Of course I will be spending the majority of my time looking for Nessie!
There has been a very interesting sighting made recently which may show a large creature in the loch.
I will upload video clips and photo's of the trip and of course anything I may be lucky enough to see.

So we have been back a while and although we have a lot of family photos there is really only one that I want to share. We spent a day at the Loch and of course we saw nothing like a monster in it, but after wards we had a trip to the Loch Ness exhibition at the Drumnadrochit hotel, which by the way is excellent! in my opinion and we had the huge fortune to meet and speak with naturalist Adrian Shine! If you don't know who Adrian Shine is then where have you been? Since the early 1970's Adrian has been the leading authority and leading scientist on the Loch and its inhabitants. Adrian has been to the bottom of the Loch in a submersible and was the main instigator of operation Deep scan, the huge fleet of boats that swept the loch with sonar. Ever since I have been interested in the paranormal and cryptozoology I have followed with great interest Adrian's work and thesis on 'Nessie'. As a side note I agree with Adrian's theory that the loch is sometimes inhabited by very large anadromous fish such as a European sturgeon! This would explain some of the sightings of crocodilian looking creatures as sturgeon have large prominent scales on their backs. Here is a picture of Naturalist Adrian Shine with Heather and myself outside of the Loch Ness Exhibition in Drumnadrochit. Mark
