The subject and main target for this years roadtrip!
Dartmoor in Devon is a protected national park with people dwelling on the site since neolithic times.
Every so often a report will come in detailing a sighting of a large animal prowling over the moor!
This animal has spawned many legends including the fictionalised 'Hound of the Baskervilles' in Sir Arthur Conan-Doyles novel of the same name.
There are hundreds of photographs purporting to show a large feline like creature on the moor and in 2008 a video of what looks like a lion bounding across the moorland surfaced.
This video was analysed on a tv program called 'Fact or faked' and their conclusion was that the animal at least is a real lion.
Many people in England owned large wild cats such as pumas, lions and panthers! It was legal until the 'dangerous wild animal act' was put in place, at which point a lot of these animals were released into the countryside!
We believe that people are seeing something on Dartmoor!
Lets hope we find out in a few weeks time!
